Closer Look At Spencer Hastings' Style

Hey again! Today's blog is all about the super-stylish Spencer Hastings from Pretty Little Liars! You can read my previous posts on Emily Field's style and beauty that I posted the other day too. Spencer's style is a lot more preppy and designer based than Emily's, and she's always very smart and well presented! I wish I could look even half as sophisticated as she does, but unfortunately I'm too clumsy and disorganised to be like that! Some of her outfit choices are really cute though, I've picked out a few of my favourites below. Sometimes she takes something quite masculine and throws in a feminine twist, such as a sleek trouser suit with a chiffon sheer shirt.

She always looks so smart and as if she's spent a long time planning her outfits, and it's quite rare she steps outside her beloved neutral palette to try something bolder, which is why I love the purple on the dress in the top right. In keeping with the neutral theme, I picked out these pieces which I thought summed up Spencer's preppy smart look.

Some of the pieces are really classic, such as the black and white cardigan, black pencil skirt, skinny jeans and the handbags, oh, and of course the shoes! She sometimes plays around with vintage and quirkier items, so I found this gorgeous bird print sheer shirt and the lovely dress, which I want so much it hurts! I threw in a preppy black headband too, just because I saw it and it screamed Spencer's name! I also really wanted to focus on her more relaxed and casual style, which is still more dressy than Emily's, but she seems to experiment a little more with colour and patterns in her really casual styles.

This is much more relaxed than the first set above, but is still preppy and classic, with a few hints of colour and even the odd pattern! I loved the Chanel style quilted purse, but in green it's so much fresher and more youthful. Ballet flats are the only shoes I ever wear, and as Spencer's tall too these really work with most outfits, but the boots add edge to her girly style.
