Starting with Emily's face, her skin is always SO gorgeous! It's really clear and healthy looking, so I thought that an absolute essential would be a good cleanser, such as this Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I absolutely adore this stuff, and I can really tell when funds are running low and I have to use something else! Her brows are perfectly shaped, and always so well groomed. Mine are ridiculous and need taming all the time, but I've only recently started defining them and it makes such a difference. This HD Brows kit is my ultimate must have, and a really good pair of tweezers.
For her skin, you'd need a really good primer to get that perfect finish, such as Illamasqua Satin Primer, or if you prefer there is also a matt primer. My favourite foundation at the minute is actually by George at Asda, but it's so good I can't justify buying anything else. It's so good, with medium-full coverage and a lovely finish that's not quite matt but doesn't shine like a bauble either! For a healthy glow, try Bella Bamba by Benefit, I love the pinky gold tones and it's so beautiful! I adore Benefit's quirky packaging. A nude, earthy toned eye palette such as the MUA Heaven & Earth palette would be perfect to recreate Emily's subtle, understated eyes, finished with a few coats of volumising mascara. This is my mascara of the moment! I need waterproof because my eyes are prone to streaming thanks to my contact lenses! Finally, a really good lipbalm is an absolute essential, and my favourite super product is Carmex, as no matter how destroyed my lips are this always brings them back to life. And, it's so cheap it's rude not to buy it!
Emily's dressy look isn't that much different, but she does pay more attention to her hair, instead of leaving it loose and naturally wavy, and she does amp up her make-up a little.
Her make-up is a little more glamourous, she's added some more mascara to lengthen her lashes, and I'd really recommend this one as it's so good! Makes my lashes longer than anything else I've ever used. She often wears coloured eyeshadow, and this MUA palette has so many colours, there are lots of potential new looks to be created by mixing the colours too. A berry coloured lipstick is an Emily essential when she's dressing up, and her hair is styled too, when I'm curling/waving my hair I usually use these standard curling tongs but use a different technique to most people, one I found here that really works for me, even if it takes ten minutes more it's so worth it! Don't forget heat protection spray!
Hope you're enjoying the Pretty Little Liars theme, I'll probably throw a couple of reviews in that I've been working on between these posts so that I don't annoy everyone with PLL related ones, and so I can share my latest beauty loves with you!
