TRESemmé Split Remedy Review - Part 2

A while ago I purchased the TRESemmé Split Remedy range from Superdrug in a last ditch attempt to salvage my battered hair, as I hate having my hair cut! It always ends up far too short, and there's always tears and disappointment and then a few weeks spent avoiding mirrors. So to find a product that claimed to heal my split ends sounded too good to be true, so naturally I went ahead and bought the entire range.
You can see the first part of my review here, which has an in-depth first thoughts review along with pictures of my hair before I'd used the product, and after using it for the first time.

I was so impressed with this product, and I still am, over a month later. I've used this every time I've washed my hair, and the condition has improved so much. There are hardly any split ends, it feels soft, manageable, and doesn't get greasy every day anymore so I can wash my hair every other day instead.

This stuff smells amazing too, not so much the shampoo and conditioner, as they just have the usual TRESemmé smell, which I still love, but the intensive conditioner is by far the best smelling thing ever! It reminds me of holidays, lazing on beaches, but with the added benefit of not making me look like Side Show Bob on a bad hair day.

I don't think I'd stop using this range, simply because I'm scared that if I stop, my hair might revert to it's pre-TRESemmé days, and I'd have to give up and shave it all off. It also seems to dry a lot quicker, which I wasn't expecting. I never blow dry my hair, or use any sort of heated appliance on it as it's damaged enough without my attempting to burn it into shape, but it dries in about 30/45 minutes now by itself, and my hair is fairly long and thick. Well, I like to think it's long, but it's not. One day it will be!

Here are a few snaps of what it looks like after a month of continuous use. Please bear in mind that my hair colour has faded from the brighter, much more intense red in the first part of the review, and is now a soft gingery/orangey/reddish colour. Personally I love it this colour, it looks so pretty in the sun, like a golden red, and under different lights it can be a real POW red.

As you can see, it's really made a difference. It's really sleek and easy to manage, even without using appliances on it. It's a bit wavy towards the ends as I've had it tied back in a bun whilst doing things this morning, but even now, as second day hair it still feels freshly washed and soft. I honestly cannot recommend this product enough, and it's a real bargain as I've still not used up all my products! I will definitely be repurchasing this again as soon as it's used up.

Have you tried the Split Remedy range? What did you think to it?

Love xxx
