Review - Technic Nail Polish in Carnival

I went on a hunt to find my local Bodycare a few days ago, and eventually managed to track it down! I'd seen so many reviews of this polish raving about it, and how it was a great dupe for OPI's Rainbow Connection. I've got such short nails as I have a terrible habit of biting them when I'm nervous, so I didn't want to splash out on an expensive polish when I don't have nice enough nails to show it off.
I was a bit dubious about just how good a dupe this would be, especially as it's only 99p. I didn't think it would have much glitter in it, and that the application of glitter wold be really uneven and patchy.
This polish really took me by surprise, as it was absolutely packed with glitter! I wanted the ultimate rainbow sparkle nails, so I used a clear basecoat and then started to layer on the glitter. I took photos of my nails after each coat so you can see just how much glitter there is!

As you can see, it only took three coats to get an opaque cover of glitter, and I was so impressed by this polish. It also looks amazing layered over shimmery polish, my favourite is a soft rose pink! I've had this one for four days now and it's not chipped at all, and the best thing is I can't bite my nails or I get a mouthful of glitter! I can imagine it would be tricky to get off, but you can always try the tin foil trick to get it off, that always works well for me.
I've never tried the OPI polish, so can't comment on what it's like in comparison to that, but I'm so pleased with the results of this Technic polish that I won't be splashing out for the OPI one!

Have you tried any of the Technic polishes? If so, what did you think?

Love xxx
